SCAUT, a Czech-based startup, helps employers verify the authenticity and accuracy of data and information provided by their job candidates, or contractors. Their goal is to streamline and speed up the verification process so that employers can fill vacancies more quickly and efficiently while meeting all legislative, regulatory and corporate requirements.

The Challenge

Since 2020, SCAUT has been enabling recruiters to validate the information provided by job applicants during the hiring process. They set themselves apart with a comprehensive and personalized experience, efficiently checking the integrity of job candidates or contractors in positions where scrutiny is essential.

As a recruitment platform intended to evaluate data on job candidates, SCAUT complies with strict background check requirements and reduces the risk of recruiting an unsuitable candidate. With impersonation fraud presenting a growing threat, knowing a genuine candidate from a bad actor has benefits that include avoiding regulatory penalties, financial losses, and reputational damage. 

This resulted in a high volume of manual verifications. In the long run, these issues resulted in significant operational and financial costs and they were forced to look for a better performing identity verification solution.

The Solution
